About this spot
Belintash is a plateau rock formation, 750 meters long, 30 to 50 meters wide and about 50 meters high. The name of the place means White Stone. It is believed that an ancient Thracian sanctuary of god Sabaziy – the god of the Thracian tribe Besi - lived there. There are many small holes on the floor of the rock that are believed to be used for rituals.
