Fisherman's Bastion

A turreted hilltop fortress with views across the whole city - probably the best place in Budapest for photography. From here you can enjoy elevated views of the Danube, the Hungarian Parliament, St. Stephen's Basilica and the Szechenyi Chain Bridge. The bastion itself is of course a notable subject for your images too.

Széchenyi Chain Bridge

A landmark chain bridge that spans the River Danube between Buda and Pest, the western and eastern sides of Budapest. As well as being an interesting photographic subject it also has great views down river towards the Hungarian Parliament building. Interestingly, the bridge was designed by William Clark who also built Marlow Bridge in the UK in 1832, some 15 or so years previously - maybe as a trial run!
