About this spot
The Long Walk is a three mile long tree-lined avenue between the George IV Gateway in Windsor Castle and the magnificent Copper Horse statue in Windsor Great Park. This tree-lined avenue was created during the reign of Charles II. It is part of Windsor Great Park as it lies outside the Castle boundary and has some of the most recognisable views in Windsor.
