About this spot
The Belgian rail network is the oldest on the European continent. That network expanded rapidly. It is therefore logical that in 2015 Brussels initiated a brand new and very interactive museum: Train World. Train World is a place where many treasures are treasured: from the oldest steam locomotive in Belgium, the “Pays de Waes”, to the “type 12”, the streamlined steam locomotive that broke all speed records in 1939. Immerse yourself in the world of the traveler, from the 19th-century worker on the way to the factory to the businessman who travels from one European destination to another with the TEE.
