About this spot
This spot is along the St-Jean street who is the main street of the St-Jean district in the Vieux Lyon. It is a paved pedestrian street in the Vieux Lyon district and one of the busiest.
Oriented north-south, it connects the St-jean square and the Change square.
This street was traced at the end of the third century after the inhabitants of Fourviere, the upper town of Lugdunum, were deprived of their water supply and forced to go down to the Saone to build a little more neighborhood, where is the current Old Lyon.
