About this spot
Robin Hood’s Stride is a gritstone outcrop, ironically located on the Limestone Way. One of the most striking things upon arriving is the elevation you are at with views down towards Haddon Hall and
Bakewell. On the top of the crag at both sides are two large gritstone pinnacles and it is said that Robin Hood walked from one to the other; while an exaggeration, it is where the crag derives its name.
