About this spot
The duomo is the most important church of the town and definitely deserves to be visited, with its portal covered by a wonderful bas-relief of Barisano da Trani, brought here from Costantinoples in 1179.
The Façade is very simple, with three ancient marble portal: the central one is closed by the famous bronze door created in 1179 by Barisano da Trani.
inside there’s a beautiful pulpit, which is supported by six spiraled columns sitting atop marble lions.
