About this spot
This spot is located on the bridge of Wilson, side on the quay of Victor Augagneur and above the banks of the Rhone.
The Wilson Bridge spans the Rhone at Servient Street and was inaugurated on July 14, 1918. It was at the time a revolutionary structure since it has a reinforced concrete deck resting on piles of stone masonry. La Villette. The bridge was damaged in September 1944 and reopened definitively in 1948.
As for the banks of the Rhone as we know them today (pedestrian and landscaping), the development works begin in 2005 and finish at the end of 2007.
