About this spot
The London Eye, formerly Millennium Wheel, is a revolving observation wheel on the South Bank of the River Thames. At 135m, it was the world’s tallest ferris wheel from 1999 but was surpassed by the Star of Nanchang, in China in 2006. Definitely in the top ten of iconic London photography locations shooting at night is definitely more atmospheric. A great subject from all angles and different camera settings the possibilities are endless.
