About this spot
Lions' Bridge is another photogenic site in Sofia. The bridge dates from the end of 19th century and is one of Sofia's symbols. The site is known as a place where criminals used to be killed in Ottoman times. The site is in the middle of a roundabout on one of the busiest boulevards in Sofia. In the middle of the roundabout there is a square where only trams and people pass. The square is often decorated with flowers.
