Check tide times. Keep this beach beautiful - take your own litter home and think about leaving it a little better than when you arrived.

About this spot
The beach in Brighton and Hove stretches for a few miles, between Brighton Marina in the east and Southwick in the west. It's completely covered with pebbles and you can see the underlying sand only at very low tides. Apart from the Palace Pier and the West Pier ruins, some of its more distinct features include mostly groynes/sea defences.
There are also a few mini golf and other sports venues, many cafés/pubs. One major attraction, and a possible photo opportunity, is Volks Electric railway connecting Brighton Pier with Marina, opened daily during the warmer season.
