Borough Market is London’s oldest food market and has been serving the people of Southwark for 1,000 years. Borough Market is a riot of colours, smells and human interactions. It's a great place to spend time wandering with your camera and sampling the wares of the many traders, most of whom have a vast repository of culinary knowledge and are usually happy to share their expertise with you.
The market is open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 until 17:00, however Mondays and Tuesdays are limited trading days and not all stalls will be open. From 4th December to New Year the market opens on Sundays as well.
