About this spot
In Blinde-Ezelstraat (Blind Donkey Street) every square metre has something to notice. From the vaults between the City Hall and the Civil Registry, to the black square on the side facade of City Hall.

There are lots of legends to explain the name of the street, but in fact there was an inn here during the 15th century called Den Blinden Ezel (‘the blind donkey’).
