The Albert Memorial is located in Kensington Gardens. The Albert Memorial commemorates the death of Prince Albert, Queen Victoria's husband, who died of typhoid fever at the age of 42. It is one of London's most ornate monuments and was designed by George Gilbert Scott. Directly in front of it is the Royal Albert Hall.
