About this spot
The Yellow Trail gives you an elevated view of the bay and icefjord and follows the cliffs. You can pick up the Yellow Trail at the Old Heliport in town or pick it up at the Sermermiut Trail/Ilulissat Icefjord Centre and follow it back to town. The trail is 2.7 km long and takes approximately 2 hours (depending on how many times you stop to take pictures). While the shortest of all the trails, it is rated moderate to difficult so you need to be reasonably fit. There is also a Red and Blue trail--all offering a slightly different view of the icefjord.
