I highly recommend looking up pertinent information about the dredge from their website.
I noted that it's not wheelchair accessible and that is due to the stairs and trip hazards throughout the inside of the dredge. The outside is very easy for a wheelchair. It is for that reason I will share many of the interior photos.
The tour guides are VERY informative and will answer most of your questions and they will come outside for those that are not able to go inside.
They are open daily for tours at 10:00 AM and the last tour is at 4:30 PM on Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend.
