Pecol mountain pasture is part of the southern slopes of Jof Montasio (Montaž), a peak in western Julian Alps, Italy.

The pasture is a great starting point to observe and photograph some of the alpine wildlife of the region. Some of the animals that can be seen here is Alpine Ibex (Capra ibex), Alpine marmot (Marmota marmota), griffon vulture (Gyps fulvus), alpine salamander (Salamandra atra) and other.
