About this spot
Wahclella Falls, along Tanner Creek, is one of the many beautiful waterfalls in the Columbia Gorge. It is a two-tiered waterfall, with drops of 48 and 49 feet, though depending on your viewpoint, the upper portion may not be visible. The trail to the falls is a relatively easy, 2.4 mile round trip hike. Near the beginning of the trail, it passes directly over the base of Munra Falls. Near Wahclella Falls, the trail forms a small loop, but currently the upper portion of the loop is closed due to a wildfire in 2017.
