About this spot
Vaduz Castle, also known as Schloss Vaduz, is the palace and official residence of the Prince of Liechtenstein, located in Vaduz, the capital of the Principality of Liechtenstein. The castle is a significant symbol of the capital, visible from a great distance due to its perch on a hillside 120 meters above Vaduz. Thought to have been constructed as a fortress in the 12th century, it later had living quarters added in 1287, with the first documentation mentioning the castle dating back to 1322.
