About this spot
Ullim is the Korean word for echo, an appropriate name for the waterfall which can be heard as far as 4 kilometers. This 75m high waterfall has become a tourist attraction after Kim Jong Il's visit. In order to commemorate his visit, the side of the falls rocks has 2001 engraved and recreated in his handwriting.
