About this spot
Torre del Oro is a Golden tower situated on the bank of Canal de Alfonso XIII dating from 13th century.
It was constructed as military watchtower by Almohad Caliphate to control access to Seville via the Guadalquivir river.
You can photograph the tower from outside and it is free, ok to use a tripod and for a wheelchair. If you want to enter the tower, there is an entrance fee.
