Dropping over 600 feet, Multnomah Falls is the tallest waterfall in Oregon and one of the tallest in the United States. It is the top waterfall of the many falls in the Columbia River Gorge. A steep, but popular, trail leads to a viewing platform at the very top of the falls. A small waterfall, sometimes called Upper Multnomah Falls, is located here. Technically, this small fall is considered as the uppermost portion of Multnomah Falls.
