About this spot
The Long Boardwalk is the name given to the wooden bridge that leads from the car park onto Chesil beach, an iconic pebble and shingle barrier beach formed at the end of the last ice age. It connects the Isle of Portland to the mainland. A very popular spot for sea fishing.
