About this spot
The Buck Stone is a large rock located on a hilltop in the Wye Valley area close to the Welsh border.
The stone got its name as it was apparently balanced in such a way it could rock slightly. Today, you'll notice the base has been secured with concrete so it's now somewhat more static.
This spot offers some nice views to the west over the valley in the Monmouth area.
