About this spot
The Teatre-Museu Dalí, also known as the Salvador Dalí Theatre-Museum, is a renowned museum dedicated to the works of the renowned Surrealist artist Salvador Dalí. It is located in Dalí's hometown of Figueres, Catalonia, Spain. The museum is a unique and surreal experience in itself, as it was designed by Salvador Dalí himself, and it incorporates elements of his eccentric and imaginative style.

The museum is housed in the former Municipal Theatre of Figueres, which was destroyed during the Spanish Civil War. Dalí chose to rebuild and transform the ruined theater into a museum to showcase his art. He added his signature touches to the building's design, creating a surreal atmosphere both inside and outside. The museum is a blend of neoclassical, Surrealist, and fantastical elements.
