About this spot
Stenness Beach is a beautiful and secluded beach located on the island of Bressay in the Shetland Islands, Scotland. It is known for its stunning scenery, dramatic coastline, and abundant wildlife. The beach is also home to a number of historical ruins, including the remains of an old fishing station. Stenness Beach was once a thriving fishing community. However, the fishing industry declined in the late 19th century, and the beach was eventually abandoned.
