About this spot
Steetley Pier is an old historical pier that is not in use anymore. It offers great photo opportunities for seascapes and to capture this industrial heritage. It was built in the 1960's to pipe sea water for the magnesia treatment works. There is the pier itself to photograph but also other remnants of other structures that can be of interest. The beach is beautiful. The pier is under consideration for demolition at present
