About this spot
Stac Pollaidh is one of the jewels of the Assynt region of north west Scotland. Whilst the approach is steep to start, it is on a good path, and the views from the summit ridge (and even before) are well worth the effort.

The sandstone of the summit ridge has been sculptured by the wind and rain over many millennia giving rise to all sort of interesting shaped rocks and towers.
