About this spot
St William's College is a Mediaeval building in York, originally built to provide accommodation for priests attached to chantry chapels at nearby York Minster. The college was founded in 1460 to house twenty-three priests and a provost.
Whilst this is another great spot from which to capture a view of York Minster, you shouldn't overlook the charm of College Street itself and the front of St William's College is charming.
