St Peter & St Paul's Church in Lavenham is one of the principal wool churches in common with many Suffolk towns/villages the area prospered through the vast wealth gained through wool. It is one of the finest examples of Late Perpendicular Gothic architecture in England. Lavenham is very pretty village with many half-timbered buildings & a Guildhall (National Trust).
