This picture was taken from the National Park area where Highway 2 (to Steven's Pass) runs along the Skykomish River. There are a number of places where you can park and work your way down to the river. This particular place has photo opportunities looking up in rocky area where the water is rushing through the gaps, and then down to more open picturesque areas.
