Solvorn is a small town on the western shore of Lustrafjorden (the innermost part of the Sognefjorden). The village has picturesque white, yellow and red buildings along the waterfront with steep forests rising above the fjord in the background. The village is directly across the fjord from small town of Ornes, home to thousand-year old Urnes Stave Church.
