The hot springs are very dangerous- please stay on the marked paths, and observe any signs warning of closures. Ignoring these rules may find you boiling your foot, which will definitely ruin your trip! If you do set up a tripod on the path, make sure you are not blocking the way for other visitors.

About this spot
This location is located in the south of the Reykjanes peninsula, and can be reached in a little over half an hour from Reykjavk, and around 45 minutes from the airport.
It seems to go by a couple of different names- Krýsuvík (the area) or Seltun (the hot springs themselves). Boardwalks lead you through bubbling hot springs and yellow sulphur-laden rock crossed with all sorts of other colours, and a path leads up the hill for an elevated view.
