It's unlikely you will find this spot absent of people- avoid including people in your photographs who are visiting for prayer, and if you happen to arrive during a service, consider coming back at a later time.

About this spot
Saint Gregory the Illuminator Cathedral (otherwise known simply as Yerevan Cathedral) can be found just south of the central Yerevan ring road. It's a relatively new building, with construction starting in 1997 and finishing in 2001.
Built from the local pink stone, it reaches 54 metres to the top of the cross.
