About this spot
The Royal Liver Building is a grade 1 listed building and one of the three Graces that line the waterfront. It is arguably the most iconic building in the city and was one of the first to be built of reinforced concrete. The fabled liver birds that sit on top of the building are named Bella and Bertie. One looks out to sea and the other towards the city.
