For a shot of the lake with the Brenta Dolomites in the background, I recommend arriving on site
early in the morning in order to have the sun on the side or below the clouds for a perfect sunrise.
Keep in mind that the lake attracts a great many people during the high season, especially during the central hours of the day (and is popular outing for families in the summer), in part because it is the first stop on the 5 Laghi itinerary, which is one of the most popular during the summer.
