Just to the east of Piazza Maggiore is the Quadrilatero District. This old grid of streets is full of food shops, restaurants, and markets. In this district you will find juicy peaches and cherries, delicious pastries, navel-shaped handmade pasta, shaved Parma ham, Bolognese Mortadella and blocks of black rind parmesan.
