About this spot
These two golden sand beaches on the southern tip of Cornwall are fantastic locations for early morning sunrise shoots. Porthcurno is great for capturing dramatic waves crashing on the beach with Logan rock in the background, whilst the golden sands and turquoise waters of Pedn Vounder can be shot from both the coastal path and from the beach itself.
If you are in the area I would also suggest a visit to the Minnack open air theatre which sits atop of the cliffs to the west of Porthcurno. There is a car park at the theatre (avoids walking up the very steep hill from the beach car park).
