This has been one of my all-time favorite airplanes from the Cold War era called the B-58 Hustler. It was a HUGE gas hog and they couldn't keep them in the air for very long hence the big tank under the belly.

The Convair B-36 Peacemaker is a strategic bomber that was built by Convair and operated by the United States Air Force from 1949 to 1959. The B-36 is the largest mass-produced piston-engined aircraft ever built. It had the longest wingspan of any combat aircraft ever built, at 230 ft. The B-36 was the first bomber capable of delivering any of the nuclear weapons in the U.S. arsenal from an internal bomb bay without aircraft modifications. For anyone who is an aviation enthusiast, this is a MUST-see! There are no airshows or announcers, it is self-guided or guided if you pay extra. If you choose to guide yourself you can go at your own pace, touch, and study as allowed. In most of the static displays you can walk right up to them but you cannot look inside as they are either too high up in the air or protected around the glass from the extreme desert heat.
