The ascent to the ibones (lakes) of Anayet is a very popular route that many people do in summer, since good weather is the norm, and the views are spectacular, both along the way through the Barranco de Culibillas and in the ibones (there are several). The most characteristic feature in the distance is the 2,885 m. Midi d'Ossau Peak, in France, which stands alone on the horizon.
