About this spot
This area is a pretty important location for mountain enthusiast, it sits right below the incredibly jagged peak of Grigna Meridionale and it is the starting point to many hikes and trail, from light walks in Parco Valentino, to climbs on the many limestone spires and rock walls.

The church, right in the center of Piani dei Resinelli, was built by Don Carlo Raspini following the project of Paolo Mezzanotte. It was opened on the 2nd of August 1917 as a shrine for the Fallen of the Mountain.
