Shoot with care
This place can be wet much of the year, which means slippery banks by the fast-moving river. Signs have been posted to ask visitors not to push coins into trees, which has become a popular habit but which can be harmful to wildlife. There is parking but please pay for it when you visit (£3 per day in November 2022) to help keep our wild forests safe and healthy for us all.

About this spot
Situated within the Craigvinean Forest in Perthshire near Dunkeld are 18th century follies to honour the poet Ossian. They include the hermit's cave and Ossian's Hall which overlooks the waterfall on the river Braan.
