About this spot
Olidan hydroelectric plant in Trollhattan, Sweden, is the oldest such power station in Sweden. Coming on-line in 1910, it still generates power to this day. As well as the imposing red granite building of the turbine hall, there are other details to photograph including old rail lines used for moving material in and out of the buildings and other bits of now-disused engineering.
