About this spot
From this spot you will enjoy some of the best views of the island of Corsica. The small church, with its simple architectural design and a Baroque bell tower, is located on top of a promontory and has a wonderful outlook across the Bay of Calvi and the Reginu Valley. The magnificent view also include the town of Calvi and its citadel. Opposite the entrance of the church there is a large statue of Notre Dame de la Serra atop a rock.

The original religious sanctuary on this spot was destroyed during a siege in 1740, but a new chapel was built in the first half of the 19th century.
The Chapelle de Notre Dame de la Serra is located approximately 3 miles (5 kilometers) outside town on the road toward the nature reserve of Porto.
