Shoot with care
A massive colony of Northern Gannets nests on Bonaventure island, making it probably one of the most accesible points to photograph them. Also, the sheer number of the birds makes for an interesting subject.
Besides the colony, there's other birds and wildlife and the island itself offers some pretty good opportunities for landscape photography. Just keep to the trails and obey the rules.

About this spot
The entire Bonaventure island is part of national park. The colony lies on the western side of the island and is accessible via a boat shuttle and a short hike. There's plenty other opportunities for photography on the island (other birds, landscape photos etc.) so plan for a long day.
