People will often be visiting here for prayer. Remain quiet and respectful and avoid photographing worshippers.

About this spot
The New St. George Church can be found immediately east of the Old Town area of Bucharest. A Romanian Orthodox church, the current building was completed in 1706, but is known as the "new" church as an older building - surrounded by a market - once stood here

Over the years, further restorations have taken place, including repairs following substantial damage in the earthquake of 1940.
