About this spot
Nevada City, Montana is very near Virginia City. In the 1880s, it was one of the two major centers of Commerce in what was known as one of the "Richest Gold Strikes in the Rocky Mountain West", along with its sister city Virginia City. Since the late 90s, tourists come here for the collection of 19th century buildings within or surrounding the Nevada City Museum & Music Hall.
Sadly for me, much of it is too commercialized for my liking, but there is plenty to see and is fun for families.
