About this spot
Mont Albert is a mountain in the Chic-Choc range in Gaspésie National Park. At 1,151 m it is one of the highest mountains in southern Quebec. The summit can be reached via a reasonably long hike on a good and easy trail from the road (Gîte du Mont-Albert area). The top is scenic with views of the surrounding forests, there's a plateau with alpine tundra and some peat bog/lakes. The southern side is more bare/rocky and offers a whole separate set of options for photography.
