About this spot
Tumalo Creek is a waterfall haven, with at more than half a dozen waterfalls. Middle Tumalo Falls is the third waterfall on the creek, about two miles upstream from Tumalo Falls (a separate Photohound spot). Tumalo Creek is fed by springs higher up in the Cascades, providing plenty of water to the falls, even during the dry end of summer.

Middle Tumalo Falls plunges 43 feet. It is also often called Upper Tumalo Falls because it is the uppermost of the three mapped falls on the creek (the others being Tumalo and Middle Tumalo Falls), though there are many other falls further upstream. It is also occasionally called Far Tumalo Falls.
