Check the tide times and do not attempt to cross the causeway if the road is covered. Breakdowns occur very often, and this can result in a car being abandoned in the sea, or the occupants having to be rescued by the emergency services.
About this spot
The only place on the East Coast of the UK where you can get a sunset over water (so I am told).
